Introduction to Micromax In Note 1
Micromax In note 1 is officially announced on 3 November. The Micromax company come back in 2020. We know that the Micromax has a great effort all these years on smartphones that could potentially bring up to back in competition to the Chinese companies that ousted them from the top spot a few years.
The first factor of this company is “Made IN INDIA”. The Micromax In note 1 completes in a segment that recently sees disruption by getting some advance feature or the other from their flagship. From high-resolution cameras to high refresh rate displays, this segment has it all. In note 1, that disturbance factor is not a specification sheet element. In fact, it is Made in India has also assembled in India.
The major components inside are not necessarily from China, but they are not fully made in India. Nevertheless, the In note 1 smartphone that being marketed as Desi, made by an Indian brand, in Indian industry using Indian labour.
The Micromax In note 1 does not go overboard on the revolution just yet. It trends water carefully with a well thought out specification sheet. The Media Tek Helg G85 is a choice to take care of the better performance.
It’s the decent budget chip that powers a multitude of smartphones, like Redmi Note 9, and the Narzo 20, both of which priced higher than the In note 1. According, to our test sheets a Helios G85 powered smartphone is the best runner up in the mid-range category in our upcoming Digit Zero Awards. That should tell to those sitting on the fence about this one, and with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, it just feeling good in this price range.
Now, I will talk about the software performance, there are a few areas that Micromax In note 1 has to work on to become the best smartphone choice among Indians once again. Nowadays, the software is the biggest differentiator among smartphones that all sees to have the same hardware.
The operating system is unique in every smartphone, where OEM routinely roll out enhanced features and optimisations to differentiate from the rest. That something new like a fleshed-out Pro Mode in the camera of the Redmi Note 9, or the certifiable number of productivity features in Samsung’s ONEUI on the Samsung Galaxy M21. These companies spend heavily on Research and Development innovating on features that set them apart from the rest.
Micromax In note 1 only has pure stock Android to answer Chinese smartphones. The brand argument for using stock Android is to avoid the annoying bloatware and personalized ads that have come to plague mid-range smartphones for the past few years. But actually, user required security of our data, you will be losing out on the nifty tools and features that many have come to love about Realme, Samsung, Xiaomi.
The Micromax In note 1 smartphone has software good like the basic AOSP build but no other optimisations in place. In note 1 has likely used the turnkey solutions offered by MediaTek to build the Android ecosystem and implemented the necessary hardware changes that make up for a mid-range smartphone these days. There are very little OEM has to do on its own.
It is a clever way of addressing a primary concern of the people, but it’s also a shiftless way to it. Instead, In note 1 could have spent more time in developing the user interface, taking inputs from the largest smartphone user base in the world, exciting features that users in India truly need, and then add no adds policy as the cherry on top. It is impossible that such a project is currently underway at the Micromax office, but we have no wind of it.
